I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor that has worked in the mental health field all my life. I have 16+ years of therapy experience with individuals, couples, and families.
Helping people find their way and grow through difficult times, relationships, and emotions is one of my passions.
When we are mindful,
when we take care of our thoughts,
and when we are in the present moment...
we can heal ourselves and move past our stressors.
Even when we still feel them.
I have an eclectic approach to therapy that draws from core elements in Positive Psychology, DBT, CBT, ACT, Existential, and Transpersonal Psychology among others.
Each counseling session is centered and tailored to the client's needs at that particular time.
Everyone's struggles are unique, but when we suffer we do so similarly.
I have experience working with people who are having difficulty with anxiety, depression & mood, adhd, anger, with their relationships, and life changes.
Sometimes, people seek counseling because life changes drastically (especially in our world now) and they have been so impacted by their experiences, that it has changed them and they are stuck moving forward.
My aim in treatment is not only to help you manage and heal your current symptoms, but also to help you find your true, present self and grow into a healthy meaningful lifestyle and life.
